How does check-in work on the day — do we need special hardware?

No special hardware needed. Your crew opens the attendee list on a phone, then scans an attendee code or searches by name. Attendance is recorded in that same list.

What do I actually get after the event?

A summary of registrations, attendance, and show rate, plus the attendee data itself, ready to download. It compiles on its own because the data has been collecting since the first sign-up came in.

Who owns my attendee data?

The data is yours, and you can export it at any time. Hegira does not use it to promote anyone else’s events.

How many people can help run one event?

As many as you need, with no cap. Then set what each one can reach — the check-in team, for instance, has no need to see the event settings.

Can the event page carry our own branding?

Yes. The event page carries your own name, logo, and artwork — not a generic one.

What if the event gets cancelled?

You can cancel the event and notify every registrant at once, in a single send. The attendee list and its data stay intact, so if you reschedule, it is all still there.
